Tanto Cuore: Expanding the House is the first expansion to Tanto Cuore. It contains the following unique elements: Buildings that you can purchase, which expand your estate for extra Victory Points , and a new selection of Private Maids. Expanding the House is a stand-alone game, but it can be combined with Tanto Cuore (Base Game), Tanto Cuore: Romantic Vacation, or Tanto Cuore: Oktoberfest for greater variety.

Printing Editions[]
In 2015 a 2nd edition reprint was released with larger, updated card text. This was announced on the Oktoberfest Kickstarter. New editions of the game have the red smile Japanime games logo on the box, while older versions have the blue text Japanime games logo.
Comparison with Other Sets[]
Tanto Cuore: Expanding the House is a less aggressive game than the base set due to the absence of Illnesses and Bad Habits . However, some of the Private Maids are much more powerful and worth more Victory Points than the ones in the base set. For this reason, adding in the Illnesses from the base set may help with game balance. The Buildings add more varied sources of Victory Points, and are likely to make for a longer game than the other two sets.
